  2. Orhei,Moldova • Orhei is the name of my city • Also,the city is filled with old,historical buildings which have a big importance for us even nowdays.The passing of time has left a mark on those buildings,but they still have the same meaning for us Orheians.

  3. 1)The Romano-Catholic Church (Architectural Pearl) ,,Adormirea Maicii Domnului) • It was built in 1914(1915) and restored in 2005.

  4. 2)Current Youth center • Once,the building in which is the current youth center was the city-hall.The outside of it didn’t change which left a mark in our city. • It still has that old style and the vintage feeling to it which is a great accent and memory to our city.

  5. 3)Armicom. • Who would have thought that before this factory once there was a jail.It has a pretty big and interesting history behind it..But what’s more interesting is how much the time has changed the looks of this place:

  6. 4.Pedagogical College”Vasile Lupu” • Before this place became a college it was a simple school for boys with the director:Vasile Mahu.The director and also some other boys from there which were big patriots made a big mark in the history of our town.

In the late 1850s, in Constance comes an English company whose high buildings in that era can be seen today. • The houses are employees of the British Empire and have built during their stay here. On September 1, 1857 signed concession between the Ottoman government and the consortium Danube and Black Sea English Küstendge Railway and Harbour Company. It is the center of the city, and if you look at Moscow's plan, you will see that it is located in the center of the radial layout of the city. The place for the present Red Square was identified during the reign of Ivan III (the end of XV – beginning of XVI century), when the Kremlin was rebuilt. So, Red Square is allocated along the northeastern wall of the Kremlin.

  11. THE BOLSHOY THEATRE • The Bolshoi Theatre is one of the largest in Russia and one of the most significant in the world opera and ballet theaters. The theater is located at the Theater Square in Moscow. • It was founded in March 1776 by prince Pyotr Vasilievich Urusov. However, the theatre has survived several fires, and the modern building is a child of an architect Joseph Bové. • Joseph Bové actually carried out the project of the winner of the contest for the design of the new building of the Bolshoi Theatre – Andrei Mikhailov. However, this project was recognized to be too costly. Bové also revised the design project, while improving it significantly.  • The new building is different from previous ones with its monumental grandeur, commensurate proportions, and harmony of architectural forms, and richness of the interior.  • The Bolshoi Theatre is a compact rectangle in plan with an extended forward portico with eight columns from the Theatre Square. The façade is decorated with a large sculptural group – Apollo in a chariot with three horses – and is “looking” at the Theatre Square. __ • In the middle of the front part of the building, there is an entrance to the theatre with grand staircases, the main foyer, a five-tiered audience hall and a stage.   14. School 1129 • The centre of education began working since 1986. Further, he was named GOU SOSH No. 1129. Every year the institution being increasingly perfected, spun, gaining experience, creating and improving its own methodology of education and training of the younger generation, and, each time, successfully passing the licensing procedure and accreditation. • And here, in may 2008 the school received the status of Centre of vocational education. In real time, the Center has carried out its activities. The main objective of the centre is to provide students a quality secondary education and training for admission to the various courses. • 30 years ago Krylatskoe was just the forest. 1980-s was the beginning of building new houses in our district. When our blue houses were being built, it became necessary to built the school near them. A. A. Sh. Was the director of or school also work here from the first day and many teachers are working here from the first day. In 1986 it was school number 1129. This year we will celebrate the school s 30 birthday. Today the number of or school is 1471, but one of the pupils 1986 suggested to celebrate the school s birthday according to its number . 1129 – November , 29th.

  15. Bobruisk,Belarus • The house was built in 1912 and belonged to merchant's wife Katznelson. The wooden building was built in the style of "modern", a typical style of the time. L-shaped in terms of the structure it is set to a cement base. The central part is allocated with a round loft which leads to a balcony. There are two square towers on the both sides.The building is decorated with decorative panels.In 1918 in this house there worked the Bobruisk County Revolutionary Committee - local authority. In 1958, in memory of the activities of the Revolutionary Committee a memorial plaque was put on the house. • Now this building hosts the central library. It is an architectural landmark and is protected by the state.

  16. Balti,Moldova • Armenian Gregorian Church was built between 1910-1914, by architect A.Krasnoselski. The project stylized medieval Armenian architecture. The church was built in brick and stone and it has a height of 16.8 m. Having harmonious proportions it is in a full unity with the surrounding landscape.

  17. The main entrance has four massive columns that support the octagonal spire dome. The roof is covered with multiple levels with red tiles. On the exterior walls are decorated various finished stone. Since the project a vivid example of architecture frequently met in Armenia, the church was considered to belong to Armenian-Gregorian style. Currently the church is not working.

  18. Urban Villa • The monument was built at the end of the XIX century. Built by architect Etti Rosa Spirer initially it was a dwelling house with one level. It was purchased by local authorities in 1914. Between the two world wars the building served as a local prefecture county

  19. In 1934 under the supervision of architect R. Spirer, the second level was built and changed the building plan. The main entrance is marked by six Ionic style columns, on which the second floor balcony rests. Over the years changes have occurred in the building plan. In Soviet times there was the Palace of pioneers. • Today it hosts the Registry office and it is considered one of the oldest buildings .
