  2. Self Assessments for 2010 • For EMEA locations, Self-Assessments will be completed in 2010. • There are 5 sections, and subsections within those sections. • Gaps identified in self-assessments shall be included in 2011 SBO Plan and beyond. Safety and Environmental Seminar, Charmeil Oct. 2009

Assessment Process • To perform the assessments, it will be beneficial to include representatives from different job functions • Production • Supervision/management • Facilities • Maintenance • Schedule several different meetings (i.e., weekly) until initial assessments are complete Safety and Environmental Seminar, Charmeil Oct. 2009

Summary • The S&H Self-Assessment tool is designed to • Communicate expectations • Help identify opportunities for improvement • Measure performance • Provide a format that can be easily audited • The initial assessments will be a significant effort • After the initial assessments, the annual reviews should be manageable • Overall, the assessments should improve compliance across the corporation Safety and Environmental Seminar, Charmeil Oct. 2009
