  7. ASSEMBLY: PRELIMINARY CHECKS • Check the body for any cracks or signs of obvious damage • Check hinges for cracking

  23. DISMANTLE THE SERVICE RADIO Disassemble in the reverse order to assembly: • switch the radio off • remove the handset and antenna • ensure they are stowed in the CES bag • carefully remove the battery • write the date and the time used on the battery
