Make sure fouls close to goal are 100%. Does the game need the flag? Does the referee need the flag? When does the AR’s foul coverage expand? • Balls out of Touch: What areas do you want the AR to signal? • Penalty Kicks: How do AR’s indicate if they are in or out of the penalty area (18)? When do you want the AR to raise the flag for a Penalty Kick? • Clock Management: Last 5 seconds of the half, trail AR monitors the clock in case of a last second goal. Issues with clock not stopping. • Misconduct: How do you want the AR to SUGGEST if a card is needed. These are basic items which MUST be covered in a Pre-game with the crew.
