  2. Why Animal Testing Happens People test cosmetics and other products an animals because they don’t want to test them on themselves. This can cause the animals discomfort or a better life. It can find cures but can kill the testers. Animal testing started in 1558 when medicine for Flu was tested on a pig.

  3. Arguments Against Animal Testing Animal testing is opposed by many people. Animal lovers Especially. They complain because the testing could harm the ‘testers’ in a way that we wouldn’t like. ‘Why do we need to test animals Anyway? If they weren’t tested on animals, how would we know if medicines. Also we wouldn’t be able to have done space travel.
