Building a Vision of CKLA–NY Implementation

Join us for an interactive experience with CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) implementation sessions 3 and 4, where educators will witness CKLA in action. Participants will be divided into groups for a rotating demonstration format: Group A will observe a Listening and Learning demo upfront, while Groups B and C will experience Skills lesson demonstrations. After a brief switch, Groups B and C will return to showcase Listening and Learning, and Group A will split for additional Skills session insights. Enhance your teaching strategies with these practical demonstrations!

  3. Demo Around the Room • Group A: Move towards the front of the room for the Listening and Learning demo. • Group B: Go into the hallway for a Skills lesson demonstration. • Group C: Go to the back of the room for a Skills lesson demo.

  4. Break

  5. SWITCH • Groups B and C: Move towards the front of the room for the Listening and Learning demo. • Group A: Divide in half; half go into the hallway. • Group A: Half go to the back of the room for a Skills lesson demo.
