This presentation discusses the preliminary tools and results from the Jupiter detector performance study presented at the 2nd GLD DOD meeting. Key tools include the JSF/Quick Simulator and various analysis techniques for single particle performance, momentum resolution, and jet mass resolution. We explore detector configurations, including momentum resolution tracking, energy resolution for EM and HD calorimeters, and factors affecting jet mass resolution. The study highlights results for Higgs events, jet mass dependence, and outlines future developments needed for comprehensive physics performance studies.
