This lesson plan guides students through six interactive science stations focused on exploring matter, the characteristics of the sun, and laboratory safety. At each station, students will engage with various resources, including textbook readings, videos, and group discussions. Activities include analyzing the properties of silly putty and slime, understanding the meaning of "incandescent," and organizing laboratory materials. Students are encouraged to collaborate, communicate, and think critically while having fun with science.

Station 3 • Just for Fun… • Go to ScienceFriday Videos • Watch the Geek My Pumpkin
Station 4 • Sort the lab until you have it in a logical order. • Write the order on your paper. • Ms. Manhart will be checking it at the next station.
Station 5 • Go to Ms. Manhart. • Lab Safety— • Wear goggles • Stand straight • Wear appropriate clothing • Communicate • Be careful!
