The Democratic Party emphasizes the necessity of accessible voting for all, especially minorities and underrepresented groups who face obstacles from restrictive voter ID laws. The platform also focuses on curbing greenhouse gas emissions to combat global warming while creating new employment opportunities. It advocates for civil rights, education reform, healthcare for all, and the protection of Social Security. Additionally, it seeks energy independence, job creation, and improved national security, while promoting accountability in government and responsible immigration policies.
