E-MAIL VIA HAM RADIOWL2K TELPAC - WL2K’s New Telnet Packet Bridge (See October 2003, QST) • A computer with internet access, TNC, antenna and vhf radio (i.e. a TelPac Node) on your Local Area Net (Packet LAN) can help bridge across the Last Mile. • The internet access can be full time or dial-up. • The PMBO to which the TelPac is linked via Telnet can be located anywhere in the world. • There is nothing special about a TelPac Node – it is just a simple packet radio station running on Win98 or better and left running 24/7.
