  2. What Positions Can YOU Run For? Club level positions: President Vice President(s) Some clubs may choose to have more than one Vice President as well as Editor (not Bulletin Editor) Secretary Treasurer Editor

Divisional: • Lieutenant Governor • District: • Governor • Secretary • Treasurer • You can also apply for one of: 7 Committee Chair positions, 3 Coordinator positions, 3 Editor positions • Chairs: CM, DCON, KFF, MR, MDE, PIE, SP • Coordinators: SAA, • Editors: News, Tech, Visual Media • International: • President • Vice President • Trustee (11) There are 11trusteepositions available. Each trustee is in charge of representing 3 of the 33 districts.

  4. Deciding What To Run For First, ask yourself: What kind of position do you want to serve as? What experiences/talents do you have? What position fits you the best? What would you like to accomplish during your term? What kind of workload can you personally handle? Why do you want this position? After deciding what to run for, make sure to understand the duties of the respective position and that you know you will succeed on a business professional level.

  5. Running for Club Office MUST BEE a dues paid member It is different from club to club Ask your Club President for more information Prepare a speech for the election and be ready to answer questions!

  6. Running for Lt. Governor Attend Candidate Training Conference Register on-line your intent to run for a Lt. Governor Position Complete the 2019-2020 Lt. Governor Service Agreement packet Create your Literature (1- 2 sided page or 2 single sided) Prepare for Conclave in January-February

  7. Running for District Office Attend District Officer Training Conference (MANDATORY) Complete Service Agreement on-time Ask for division endorsement Create a literature Run at CNH District Convention in April

  8. Running for International Office Ask for Division endorsement at Conclave Ask for District endorsement at DCON Upon endorsement, international staff will send candidates all the necessary paperwork to be completed prior to the election. Run at International Convention in July

  9. Elections Club officer candidates run for elections during a club meeting in which club members will elect the new officers. Lt. Governor candidates run for election at their division/region Conclave, hosted by your current LTG or multiple LTGs.

  10. Elections District candidates ask for divisional endorsement (approval by the home division) at Conclave, and officially run for election at District Convention. International candidates ask for divisional endorsement at Conclave, district endorsement at District Convention, and run for election at International Convention (ICON) and members from around the world elect the new International Board.

  11. Preparation Talk to/inform your Lt. Governor for help and details about position List out and organize your ideas and plans you have for the position Attend the training conference for a divisional, district, or international position hosted in December Don’t hesitate to ask your LTG or other IP officers for help!
