Advancements in Microdosimetry Research and Collaborations at CERN — June 2013 Update
This report outlines significant activities and milestones achieved during the ARDENT Midterm Meeting held at CERN on June 13, 2013. It highlights educational activities including presentations at MMND & IPCT 2012, secondments at ANSTO and Politecnico di Milano, and ongoing research focused on the development of a gas vacuum system for a TEPC. Key advances in FLUKA simulations and microdosimetric measurements with GEMPIX prototypes are discussed. Future collaborations at HIMAC, CNAO, and CATANA are planned to further enhance the scope of microdosimetry investigations.
