  3. Purpose of the course This course is intended to review the quality management system (QMS) requirements for medical device manufacturers and specifically the implementation of the QMS at Renal Solutions, Inc.

  47. 6.5 Measurement Equipment • Measuring equipment used to provide evidence of conformity to requirements • Ensure that it is suitable for its intended use and to assure confidence in the measurements • Include selection, qualification, identification, preservation, calibration, and corrective action • Calibration based on primary standards that are traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards • Suppliers of calibration services shall be qualified
