  3. Task How did the United States deal with the Soviet Union during the presidencies of John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and Ronald Reagan? After reading  primary and secondary source documents write an essay that compares the foreign policy approaches of each president in dealing with the Soviet Union  and argues  which foreign policy approach best dealt with the Soviet Union . Be sure to support your position with evidence from the texts.
