Our Daily Routine • 8:45-9:00 Morning Business / Skill Review • 9:00-9:30 Dive into Reading Time • 9:30-10:50 Reading and Language Arts / Writing • 10:50-11:10 Recess • 11:10-12:05 Math • 12:05-12:50 Lunch • 12:50-1:35 Math Continued, Spelling, SSR • 1:35-2:10 PE, Art, Garden, Music • 2:10-3:00 Social Studies and Science • 3:00-3:10 End of Day Activities • 3:10 Dismissal

Homework Assignments are posted online (no printing necessary) • Three Weekly Items • Writer’s Journal Paragraph • Math HW Journal • Spelling Practice • Reading Logs: Reading…That’s How We Roll • All students are expected to read at least 50 hours this school year • READ TO YOUR CHILD & HAVE YOUR CHILD READ TO YOU • 20 min. a night = 10 extra days of education

Check my website weekly. • Be aware of what your child is learning in the classroom. • Please help your student learn to keep track of homework and class project deadlines. • Homework is to be completed neatly and turned in on time every week. • A parent signature is required on behavior tickets. • Reading logs are required to be checked and initialed.
