In this lesson, we explore the quadratic function y = (x - 3)² + 2. We will identify the domain, range, minimum and maximum values, and determine whether the parabola opens up or down. Additionally, we will analyze intervals of increase and decrease. Resources include a standard form graphic organizer and class examples. We will culminate with a hands-on graphing exercise, where students will graph the function and record its characteristics, including vertex, domain, and range. Share your completed work for review!
