  4. INTRODUCTION OF DENMARK Denmark lies between 54° and 58° of latitude north and 8° and 15° of longitude east.The largest and most densely populated are Zealand on which the capital of Copenhagen.Denmark is a developed industrialised country .Denmark is poor in mineral deposits.

  5. HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE In the Early Modern Age from the Reformation to the end of the eighteenth century, there were two fully independent countries in Scandinavia, Denmark and Sweden. Developments in Denmark initially followed similar lines.   10. EGESKOV CASTLE Egeskov Castle is located south of Odense on the island of Funen. It is easily accessible by train and bus. The castle houses a moat and a drawbridge and has been long termed as the Renaissance gem. It was built in 1554, amidst a small lake called Egeskov (oak forest). The castle offers an expansive 15-hectare park surrounding it, which was designed in the mid-1700s

This position results in cool summers with a mean temperature of around 16°C and winters that are not particularly cold, with mean temperatures of around 0.5°C.

  18. WEATHER The temperature in Denmark may increase 4-5 degrees so that we will have a climate like France. That means that we can cultivate grapes, corn, and other crops that require more heat. An increase in temperature means that the oceans will rise because polar ice will melt. This could cause a number of floods in low lying areas.
