Update Summary • Shaded Pole to Permanent Split Capacitor motor: • BTU conversion included in fan heat equation • Added slide showing percent of motors which are PSC • Linear fluorescent to LED case lighting: • Measures created for both 18hr and 24 hr lighting operation • Add doors to medium temperature walk-in reach-in: • Incorporated HVAC interactions for reduced case infiltration  • heating savings, cooling penalty • Updated measure cost • Added BPA thermal imaging pictures 

3. Evaporator Motors – Shaded Pole to PSC Addition to existing measure: Existing program measure for Shaded Pole to ECM, adding capability to go from Shaded pole to PSC • Measure: • Remove shaded pole evaporator fan motors and install permanent split capacitor motors in display cases or walk-in cases.

4. Evaporator Motors – Shaded Pole to PSC Application: PSC motors are used in high moisture environments where the motor is exposed to condensation. Typical applications: low temperature walk-ins, display cases with misters

5. Evaporator Motors - summary Note: PSC savings are 88% of ECM savings for display cases, and 71% for Walk-ins

6. Evaporator Motors – PSC vs ECM Question: What percent of rebates will be PSC? California Program 2007 results: 8,553 ECM motors rebated 278 PSC motors rebated 3% of all rebated fans were PSC

This allows the conversion of medium temperature and new cases
