Work to align grades 6-12 writing rubrics – June 2012 Model Schools Conference – June 2012 CCSS Workshops (4 days) by Susan Gendron – June 2012 Institute Day – Sharing of “Six Shifts” in elementary, unpacking of standards in secondary – Aug. 2012 Common Core Implementation Committee established – Sept. 2012 Summer PD for Common Core facilitators – July 2012

Focus: Allocating Scarce Resources: Time & Money (Reeves) • Implementation Audit (p. 13): • What is our initiative inventory? • What is the range of implementation? • What is the relationship between instructional initiatives and student achievement? • Plot instructional initiatives into one of four quadrants based on impact & implementation • High Impact: Invest or Lead • Low Impact: Weed or Evaluate
