The Summer High School Apprenticeship Research Program (SHARP) aims to foster information literacy through active learning. To combat challenges like stress and performance anxiety, educators can utilize team-based problem-solving, peer instruction, and carefully structured worksheets. These methods encourage student engagement without the temptation of passive learning. The goal is to create an environment where students learn by doing and can discover solutions collaboratively. By focusing on motivation and guided discovery, we can enhance the educational experience for high school students.
