DARE: Digital Academic Repositories for Preserving Dutch Scientific Research

DARE (Digital Academic Repositories) aims to establish a collaborative network of repositories among all Dutch universities, the National Library (KB), the Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and the National Scientific Research Board (NWO). With a budget of 2 million Euros, this initiative, active from 2003 to 2006, focuses on the storage and dissemination of scientific research materials. Universities will be responsible for the preservation and accessibility of digital data, providing support for researchers in archiving and publishing their findings.
