Collaborative Writing /i/ vs // In groups, create 4 sentences. 2 sentences should end with a word that has a long i. 2 sentences should end with a word that had a short I.
/E/ vs /Q/ • /E/ is the vowel of Bed pronounced in the front of the tongue, lips are loosely spread, tongue is slightly tense. Say the Portuguese é, but close your lips a little. • /Q/ is the vowel of Bad pronounced in the front of the tongue, lips are opened. Say the Portuguese é, but place the tip of your tongue down.
