Reading & Writing Goals Rm 15/16 • Students will write everyday • Students will learn how to read text and cite evidence • Students will develop and incorporate high academic vocabulary • Students will practice and write in the four tested writing genres • Students will practice/learn “how to” challenge the CAASP/ test taking skills • Students will learn how to read and respond by paraphrasing

ALWAYS HW assignments ---- • Read 20 minutes Monday- Thursday • (Will include random checks by writing summaries) • Writer’s Notebook • What is a 1pager? • (Every student has created a personal Expert List) • A 1 pager is writing practice with the topic being- student created. Listed on their Expert List
