  3. Early UFC… • Considered very violent. • Used the tagline “ There are no rules”. • No gloves. • No urine screening. • No weight classes. • No Doctors.

  4. UFC now… • State athletic commissions. • Urine screening. • 7 Weight classes • Doctors. • Gloves. • Considered to be safer than boxing. • No deaths in the UFC.
