  5. BUSINESS PLAN Summary Who are we We are Str88 Cash Films Ltd, and we speciliase is renting and buying unwanted DVDS, CASSETTES, CDS,GAMES, ETC and we also sell films. What do we produce/offer? We offer a new twisit to this industry because we now offer CD and TV /DVD PLAYER rentals,also offering straight cash back if your unsatified with your rentals. Which and how many customers? Our main customers are in oxfordshire, so they are the type that we aim to appeal to, in my research I have found out that there are 165,00 people currently living in oxford. First year turnover and first year profit? 165,000 people in oxford 65,000 OAPs leaves 100,00 divided by 4 (Families of 4) = 25,000 DVD Rental= £3 3 x 48 x 25000= £3,600,00 (Turnover) Tax= £900,000 Costs= 48 x 0.50p x 25000= (Postage) £600,000 Supply of DVDs= £1.50 per DVD 48 x 1.50 x 25000= £1,800,00 Leaves Profit of £300,000 My wages : £20,000 (Monthly) £300,000- £20,000= PROFIT OF £280,000

BUSINESS PLAN Company Description I, McIntosh Tap will be the owner of my business, but i might distribute one share to a family member. • Firstly i am going to try raise some money by selling one share, and then for the rest of the money needed i am going to loan from the bank (barclays) if that fails then i will have to sell more shares, • Once i have done that, i will research popular dvds, games, etc that different type of people like and buy in the stock. • When i have got the money, i will need to buy stock, and need a plan of how i am going to distribute my wages and how i’m going to pay for the fees for creating a website, seen as this is going to be an online business. Facilities and Location(s) This company/business is going to be run online because i believe the funds needed to start up a shop are a bit too much, and the online website start up costs are reasonable.
