  4. Education Committee Timothy Allen Curtis Scholarship ($1000) Mikayla Nichols Holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Has worked for Xcel Energy, the Montana DOT, and Par Electrical Contractors. Is working at the Ohio Department of Transportation, and volunteers with the American Red Cross, as a soccer coach and with the AFIT Spouses Club Earning a Master’s Degree in Transmission and Distribution Engineering at Gonzaga University

  5. Education Committee Timothy Allen Curtis Scholarship ($1000) Troy Hinson 2nd Lieutenant serving as a developmental engineer (62E) at WPAFB, in the JPATS Ground Based Training Systems Program. Holds a BS in Electrical Engineering. Organized his Division’s “Feed the Hungry” program and the Prairie’s dog sitting group. Earning a MS in Engineering Management at the University of Dayton

  6. Education Committee Timothy Allen Curtis Scholarship ($1000) AouatefChihi Maintaining a 3.6 GPA. Working as an undergraduate researcher in the Neuroscience Lab at Wright State studying Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). Member in the Golden Key Honor Society. Mother of two young sons, and new American citizen. Earning an Undergraduate Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Wright State University

Major General Frank Barnes Scholarship ($1500) Alexander Trimbach 4.5 weighted GPA at Carroll HS, National Merit Finalist, 1st place in Ohio Math League, State Science Fair, Captain of the Academic Team, Student Council 1st VP, National Honor Society member, Eagle Scout and senior patrol leader Will major in Electrical Engineering at Notre Dame or Case Wastern Education Committee

Major General Frank Barnes Scholarship ($1500) Elizabeth Horwath 4.5 weighted GPA at Alter HS (3rd in class), Captain of the National Science Olympiad Team, National Merit Commended Scholar, National Honor Society, Key Club and Kettering Medical Center volunteer, Varsity Academic Team member, Violinist for Liturgical Choir and musicals Will major in Biomedical Engineering at the Ohio State University Education Committee

Education Committee Major General Frank Barnes Scholarship ($1500) Daniel Jasek 4.6 GPA (wieghted) at Alter HS, Key Club, Captain of the Cross Country team, National Honor Society, Tennis team, Knights for Life treasurer, Home-based Community youth leader, Science Olympiad, Peer Ministry and Alter services, Engineering Club, worked at the Aquatics Club and as a swim instructor Will major in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Ohio State University

April Lewis Scholarship ($1250) Rachel Zavakos 3.68 GPA in Chemical Engineering, SAME student member, SWE, Engineers without Borders, AICE member, Hall council rep, Habitat for Humanity and Project KiNDness volunteer, Up and Running Juniors coach, Intermural cross country, broomball, battleship and soccer Sophomore in Chemical Engineering at Notre Dame Education Committee

Butt Construction Scholarship ($1000) Jeneé Christensen 3.9 GPA after junior year at Purdue, Women in Engineering leadership team, Purdue Engineering Student Council, Purdue Foundation student board, President’s Leadership Class member and leadership retreat mentor, Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon, selected best AFROTC cadet in Northeast region, Field Training distinguished graduate Majoring in Civil Engineering at Purdue University and is an Air Force ROTC cadet Education Committee
