  2. Who does this Affect This effects students in high school because… • Students mostly because they are seeing drinking in there everyday days lives so they think drinking can be a everyday thing

  3. How does it Affect them Seventy-two percent of college students report that they used alcohol at least once within the 30 days prior to completing the Core survey. Within the last year, 84 percent of students report they drank alcohol. Among college students under the age of 21, 82 percent report using alcohol within the past year and 69 percent report using alcohol within the last 30 days.

  4. What are some other reasons why students drink • Students are being drawn to using alcohol as a depressant. • They are being bullied in school and don’t know how to handle the stress of it. • Students want to experiment with alcohol, thrills, or they say it helps them relax.

  5. Why is this happening • Students think it makes think them look cool while there at a party • Peer pressure • They need something to take the edge off • Stress at school

  6. When does this happen • At parties when there is an absences of adults\ • When friends are gathered at one area and having fun • When its planed out or sometimes not planned out

  7. Where does this happen at ? • This happens most at collages because they feel a need to drink with friends at parties. • Also they drink when there is an absence of adults this deals with under aged teens ranging from 17-20
