  4. Immigrants Immigration refers to the movement of people among countries. Immigrants A foreign-born individual who voluntarily leaves his/her country of origin Immigrants have to go through an application process or Green Card Lottery. Others get it from their US based employer, by marrying US citizen or  apply for asylum if eligible.

  5. Refugees Refugee, person who is forced to leave the country in which he or she lives because of a well-founded fear of persecution. A refugee is NOT someone displaced in their own country, displaced by natural disasters, or people who migrate voluntarily.
