Discussion on three questions • Overview understanding (paper?) conceptualizing the “the Arctic System” in a new synthetic approach • Examples of methods for ACRSS synthesis • How? • Need to get together on a regular basis • Face-to-face is important! • Work with NCEAS to formalize the synthesis for synthesis? • Identify data gaps AND process understanding gaps • Don’t wait three years to do cross-project synthesis; figure out how to start now. Does it need special funding (mini grants)?
