Language Arts Study Guide 1st Semester Finals ~ January 4-5th, 2012 • What should I study? • WRITING: Look over all of your previous writing to understand what you need to pay attention to. • READING: Review Reading Comprehension questions, Treasures Unit 2, and Year of the Boar • VOCABULARY: ALL of the vocabulary words for this Quarter – From Dear Mr. Winston to Year of the Boar week 4 (total of 61 words). Definitions, synonyms, antonyms. • GRAMMAR: Harcourt chapters 10 and 11, and Unit 3 (ch. 13, 14, 15,16, and 17). • Tips? • Study some Vocabulary everyday, starting now. • Do the review pages at the end of each chapter in the Harcourt book.
