  3. Vague Pronouns • What are the pronouns in this sentence? • Delano was at home, but he forgot to do his homework there. • What does he stand for? • What does there stand for?

  4. Vague Pronouns • Fred visited Bob after his graduation. • What is the pronoun? • What does it stand for? • How do we make it correct? • Fred visited Bob after Fred’s graduation. • Fred visited Bob after Bob’s graduation.

  5. Verb Tense • How do we know what tense this sentence is in? • She stappelledthe paper, cut the rope, and staked the glue on the table. • So…the whole sentence needs to be in past tense. • Fix this one please: • Al saw the movies, ate popcorn, and will have a tummy ache.
