The Engineering Certification Program (ECP) at Seneca Valley School District offers a comprehensive educational pathway for students interested in engineering. Through a multi-faceted approach, students gain in-depth knowledge of engineering standards, hands-on experience with professionals, and a variety of relevant courses in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. The curriculum includes foundational subjects, programming, robotics, CAD modeling, and advanced mathematics. Additional opportunities such as field trips, guest speakers, and senior projects enhance the students’ learning experience, preparing them for success in the engineering field.

Context of the ECP • The ECP will be comprised of a multi-faceted approach in helping students gain a comprehensive knowledge and deeper understanding of the engineering standards for greater success and achievement in the engineering field. • Students will be immersed in engineering applications as well as gaining valuable hands-on experience with practicing engineers in the field.
