This study investigates the relationship between soil pH levels and the height of mung bean plants. Observations reveal that as pH increases from acidic (2) to neutral conditions, plant height shows significant growth, reaching 0.5 cm at pH 2 and escalating to 2.8 cm, 9.5 cm, and 13 cm at pH levels of 6 and 8, respectively. These findings suggest that mung bean seeds thrive best in nearly neutral environments, highlighting the importance of pH in agricultural practices for optimal crop yield.

Title: ________________________________________________ • Summary of observations: • There is an increase in height from 0 to 0.5 cm for the pH 2 sample. • For the pH 2,6, and 8 samples, height increased from 0 to 2.8, 9.5 and 13 cm • respectively. Interpretation:An increase in pH results in an increase in height of plants. Mung bean seeds grow better in close to neutral environments.
