The Silent Struggle: A Sonnet of War's Aftermath

In "The Silent Struggle," Fahad Al Mana poignantly captures the harrowing realities of war through evocative imagery and a deep sense of loss. Set against the backdrop of Iraq, the poem illustrates the haunting sounds of conflict and the helplessness of civilians. As soldiers impose their will and heroism is overshadowed by despair, the tireless efforts of nurses emerge as a beacon of hope. The poem reflects on the sacrifices made and the emotional toll of war, prompting readers to contemplate the true price of conflict and the importance of standing against evil.
