2. The Brain How much storage capacity does the Brain have (express in computer terms)? With the explosion of information (Internet) is it possible that we will run out of space in our Brains? When will humans become part machine?

Specification of Software as Finite State Automata Software program to facilitate finite state machine construction Use of an “Input Conditioner” to reduce the number of states Mathematically what did the “Input Conditioner” do? Does the “Input Conditioner” change the Finite State Automata to a Push-Down Automata or a Turing Machine

5. PayPal Co-Found $100,000 To Not Go To College Analysis High-Tech Companies with Market Caps greater than 1 Billion $ Who were the founders? How much Education did they have when they founder their companies? Probably a multiple student project because of the amount of research required.
6. Develop a Game or App for the iPhone There are two parts to this project. First the research on how to create the development environment (Computer Science oriented). Second, the research on how to get you Game on the Apple iStore and what is required to sell an App. (Business oriented). This is probably a multiple student project (probably 2 students). The same could be done for Android phones.

Setup a Course for Game Development CSTA has developed a complete course in game development The programming language is C# using the Microsoft XNA framework creates the XNA Game Studio The free curriculum package includes: Teacher Roadmap Daily lesson plans Demonstration projects 14 video tutorials 22 lab assignments and solutions Student activities Assessment tools with keys and exemplars

9. Cyber Security Threats Two possible papers are possible here. One is on Operating System attacks and the other would be on all types of threats, such as phishing, etc. There is an endless supply of literature here There is an annual conference of Hackers in Las Vegas, “DefCon” One might attempt to join the hacker group “Anonymous” Create a Cyber Attack and the report on its effectiveness
10. Pollinating Robots One of the first effects of global warming will be the loss of pollinating insects and in turn the loss of our food supply. Design miniature (possibly nanobots or microrobots) that will replace bees and other pollinating insects At a minimum file a Provisional Patent First opportunity to work with a Mentor who is an Intellectual Property Attorney

14. Natural Gas Home Refilling Station Patent the idea of home refilling station for your car with natural gas Research will need to be done on how to compress natural gas to get Liquefied Natural Gas LNG Research will need to be done on the safety of home refilling
