  2. Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the new-born King! Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled

  3. The birth of a Saviour But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.(Luke 2:10-11)

  4. The Christmas gift How silently, how silently, the wondrous Gift is given; So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His Heav’n.No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ enters in.

  5. O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray;Cast out our sin, and enter in, be born in us today.We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell;O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel!
