6. Printing Information • Proper Procedure guidelines- how to handle your printing needs to best market your area • Suggested local Printing Vendors when the Campus Contract Printer is not involved

Information and Steps • Wallace Printers has won the bid again for our on campus contract printer- they get “first right of refusal” or “first chance” at a project • Fill out the information form that I will send you by email • After completion, submit your request with the information you provide to Wallace Printing first • Once Wallace’s quote is obtained, please review it • If you are happy with it, just simply complete Wallace’s own printing form. If the amount is over the $5000 bid limit, since Wallace is our contract printer, a bid will not be necessary if you choose Wallace. • Continued next page

8. Printing Procedures continued • If you are not happy with Wallace’s quote, you may obtain quotes on your own or I may obtain them for you. • If the quotes are above $5000, the item will need to go out for bid, and Wallace will still be included in the bid • Once a printer has been chosen, simply complete the requisition in Banner as usual and I will complete the purchase order. • Remember: Printed materials are advertising as well as informational tools! So let’s put our best face forward for this wonderful University of ours!

11. Promotional Items Instructions • Instructions are available to be emailed to you • Promotional vendors are complied in a list by me- these are proven local vendors • Let your imagination soar! Forget the typical cups, pens, etc to promote your area- let our local vendors help you invigorate your departmental advertising • Remember- promotional items are valuable advertising tools for your department and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte!

12. Local Promotional Vendors • I have a list I will be glad to email you of local vendors • I have worked diligently to increase our vendor base • If you missed our Vendor Fair in May, we will have one annually • Please attend the next Vendor Fair- this will be announced ahead of time • Our previous Vendor Fair was a success! Give-aways, samples, smiling faces of new and exciting vendors were present!

13. Printing Update! • We no longer have to obtain approval from Raleigh and Division of Purchase and Contract for 4 color printing!!!!
