  7. CLOCK HOURS & CREDITS, TRANSCRIPTS: MYTHS & FACTS • Clock hours, Credits and Transcripts “automatically” get sent to whomever needs them. • Myth: The fact is, you need to have official transcripts of all academic degrees, credits and in- service clock hours sent to each organization requiring them. • Any clock hours training I complete through an accredited university or professional provider will apply to my certificate renewal and salary placement. • Myth: The fact is, if the clock hour provider is not listed on OSPI’s “approved provider list”, it is unlikely that they can be accepted. • OSPI will automatically notify me when my certificate is up for renewal, and what I need to do to renew my certificate. • Myth: Nope.

  8. RESPONSIBILITIES • All Staff are responsible to understand District Policies and Policy Procedures • All staff are responsible to understand Employee Handbook and updates as they occur (HR will provide notification). • All Staff are responsible to know your CBA and to keep up with changes to both • All Staff are responsible to check their contracts, pay, deductions, etc., for accuracy and turn us in if we make a mistake! We’d rather know sooner than later.
