Southside Junior High. Dance Expectations. The Homecoming Dance: Friday, September 12th. The 6 th grade dance will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The 7 th and 8 th grade dances will be from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Students need to have a ride through the car pool line. You are expected.

  1. Southside Junior High Dance Expectations

  2. The Homecoming Dance:Friday, September 12th The 6th grade dance will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The 7th and 8th grade dances will be from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Students need to have a ride through the car pool line.

  3. You are expected To stay in the designated areas for your safety. To keep language and dance moves appropriate. To walk, not run, when you’re having fun.

  4. Concessions Please sit in the designated area to enjoy your concessions. If you leave your stash, it’ll meet the trash. Pizza is served for $1 a slice. All drinks are $1. Chips and select smaller candies are 50¢. Bagged and larger candies are $1.

  5. Dress code You do not have to wear uniforms to the dance BUT some rules still apply! Shirts, hats, or other clothing can not display inappropriate messages or symbols. Jeans, pants, or shorts can not be sagging or ultra baggy.

  6. Dress code Dresses, skirts, or shorts can be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Dresses and shirts may be sleeveless but must have at least 2 inch straps. NO spaghetti straps. If your shoes aren’t comfortable, don’t wear them! We won’t be able to store your shoes and they MUST stay on your feet.

  7. Any of these combinations are acceptable. You do not have to dress up, but shirts and ties are fine. Go Bucs!

  8. Any of these combinations are acceptable. Long, super formal dresses can be saved for high school prom.

  9. These kids couldn’t come to our dance. Hey, Justin. Maybe you could use some of your money to buy a belt! No saggy pants allowed. Harry, Leave your sunglasses and that ridiculous haircut at home.  We can’t watch your items.

  10. These kids couldn’t attend our dance. Cover up, Selena, and Save it for prom! You’ve got to have 2 inch Straps to attend our dance. Beyonce, your daughter called. She’d like her shorts back. 4 inches above the knee max!
