Comprehensive Citywide Audits Audits includes meeting with each business, completing waste assessments, right sizing, estimating AB 1826 Tiers, identifying best practices (purchasing, donations) providing educations, setting up future training(s). AB 1826 Foodwaste results are forwarded to the Organics Manager.

  4. City of Rosemead – Organics Ordinance - Ordinance and organics program passed on September 12, 2017 - Sector-wide price increase to keep organics a cost-effective program

Food Recovery First Offering Rosemead customers an opportunity to partner on food recovery Reduced Hauling Costs Highest & best use diversion Tracking data on purchase/waste volumes Monthly reports Protections under state and federal statues Community engagement In 2017, the referral program helps recover 300 tons of surplus food throughout LA County
