  1. Luke 9:23-26 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

  2. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

  4. All progress, all positive influence, begins from self-leadership.

  6. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we HOPE FOR and CERTAIN of what we DO NOT see.

  8. We are in a partnership with God that requires sweat equity on our part!

  9. Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
