Analysis of miR-124 Variants and Their Expression in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cell Lines

This study investigates the expression profiles of miR-124-1, miR-124-2, and miR-124-3 across various regions in hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines, specifically JHH-2, Hep3B, and JHH-7. Using BstUI site analysis, we examine the methylation patterns in CpG sites and their regulatory effects on miR-124 expression. Our findings highlight the differential expression of these miRNAs and their potential implications in cancer biology, thus providing insights into the epigenetic regulation of hepatocellular carcinoma.
