  3. Table of contents Family traditions Naomi Dec. 6/10For my family traditions I normally stay at home like every simple year. At 6:00 am me and my sister wake up and wake up my parents. Then we run downstairs wait and watch TV for 20 long min. They come down and open there presents. After that we eat, pancakes, raspberries, blueberries and maple syrup. My parent raised me with Santa is, they used to buy the present and my mom faked his writing and said from Santa Claus. Then when my sister was 7 she asked my dad “does Santa really exist my dad ““no” and she cried for the past 2 days. When I found out that Santa existed I knew it was fake because. St. Nicolas died a long time ago and I knew that he was Santa Claus, my sister’s dream got crushed her so she decided to crush Mine and the other reason I knew he didn’t exist was because my sister told me. My family traditions mean to me that present’s is a Gift for people’s appreciation from you to someone Else that you kind of care about them in a way as a Friend if you give a gift to a friend. You should be Thank full because a lot of kids have nothing.

Traditionally, before the feast, one could eat only Frumenty, a kind of porridge made from corn. Other ingredients were added to it later including eggs, fruit, spice, lumps of meat and dried plums and thus, the traditional Christmas plum pudding.During the Christmas dinner, roast turkey is served with vegetables and sauces while rich fruity Christmas pudding is served as desserts with brandy sauce.
