  5. eFAST: Office of Safety and Technical Training Working with the Customer • Understand the mission: • To operate the safest aerospace system in the world via SMS implementation and highly trained employees • Embrace the vision: • Reactive to proactive and predictive • Develop a safety strategy: • Valuing input from frontline employees • Deploying technology to gather data • Improving analysis to identify risk • Embrace corrective actions to mitigate risk

  6. eFAST: Office of Safety and Technical Training Develop Multi-Disciplinary Teams • At one point in the contract CSSI employed 100+ experts on eFAST DO1 contract ranging in expertise from: • ATCs • Pilots • Runway safety specialists • Data analyst • Safety culture specialists • Fatigue risk management scientist • Safety risk management experts • Training specialist • Programmers, mathematicians, engineers • Expertise is evolving with customer needs: realignment based on changing priorities and needs
