Total African Member State’s Participation in FP6 & FP7 Projects • The aim of the following graphs is to provide CAAST-Net partners with an overview of the state of African-EU Science and Technology cooperation under FP6 and FP7. • All of the projects depicted under FP7, are up to and include the year 2010. • These graphs are freely available for partners to download and use for presentations, and access to the original raw data is also available.

CPSP – Collaborative project targeted to a special group (such as SMEs). CSA – Coordination and Support Actions. IA – Integrating Activities. IAPP – Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways. IIF – Incoming International Fellowships. IIII – Integrating activities implemented as Integrated Infrastructure Initiatives. IP – Integrated Project. ITN – Initial Training Networks. LIP – Large-scale Integrated Project. NOE – Networks of Excellence. OIF – Outgoing International Fellowships. RI – Research Infrastructure – Integrated Infrastructure Initiative. RSAG – Research for SME associations/groupings. RSMEs – Research for SMEs. RTN – Research Training Networks. SA – Support Actions. SICA – Collaborative project for specific cooperation actions dedicated to international cooperation partner countries. SMRP – Small or medium-scale focused research project. SSA – Specific Support Actions. STIP – Specific Targeted Innovation Project. STREP – Specific Targeted Research Project.
