Alamo • It was head tell February 23 – March 6,1836 . • One of pivotal event in the Texas revolution president General Antonia de Bexar this was all cause of Americans moving to what we now call Texas we Americans moved to Texas for many things we though they could get rich off of selling cotton. • When the Texas won independence their new government encouraged immigration by offering settlers free lands. • This brought thousands of Americans

Santa Fe • For 60 years, the Trail was one thread in a web of internal trade routes. • Spanning 900 miles of the Great Plains between the Unite States (Santa Fe) • Soldiers used the trail during the trail during the 1846-1848 Mexican American War, 1840s border disputes between the Republic of Texas and Mexico, and America’s Civil War.

  8. The United States bought the Louisiana Purchase because of all the different trade routes there were and they all let out to the Gulf of Mexico through New Orleans. When we bought the land Lewis and Clark went on their expedition to the West. New Orleans
