  2. Adult Academy Class 10:30 am in Fellowship Hall Eric Voigtman, MS, LPC of Phoenix Interfaith Counseling will be teaching this morning.

  3. Come Celebrate Leon Bourgeois’ 85th Birthday TODAY during FELLOWSHIP TIME

  4. Marilyn Long is retiring from the nurses program here at CITD. Come and honor and thank her for her service TODAY during Fellowship Time.

  5. JANUARY is “NAME TAG MONTH” HERE AT Cross in the Desert. Make a special effort to wear your name tag each Sunday. Check “The Card” if you need one and it will be made for you. We all have trouble remembering names. Conversations are so much easier when we don’t have to worry about remembering them.

  6. Epiphany-Lenten Wed Evening Bible Studies at 5:45 pm “Wrestling with God’s Word” Taught by Pastor Mel Come between 5/5:30 pm and fellowship as you enjoy a $5 Supper of Soup, Bread and Dessert provided by our church women.

  7. Let’s Offer Hospitality to The Golden Gates. They are coming from California the afternoon of January 30 and need lodging for the night. If you can be a host, contact the Church Office 602-992-1960

Men’s Bible Study in Fellowship Hall Tuesday’s at 11 am In Fellowship Hall Tuesday’s at 11 am Come and Join Bob Lillie and his group of men as they continue their study of New Testament in the Books of 1st, 2nd and 3rd John Join this group of men as they study the Book of Luke led by Bob Lillie

  9. Continue 60 Days of prayer commitment • To grow in our mission to allow God’s love to transform lives through CITD. • For guidance regarding the decision to work with Proactive Ministries. • To see if you are led to be part of the leadership team to make this all happen.

  10. Mission Festival Dinner February 10 at 5 pm Raising funds for scholarships for a mission trip to our partnership church in Litomerice this summer. Tickets are on sale at the Mission Table between services $10 adults, $5 for under five

  11. We are a church built on prayer. Write your prayers on your heart. Give it with your offering or put it in the Valentine Box in the lobby. Your prayer team will lift up your requests to the Lord and place them around the worship center. Take time to walk the worship center and pray over these hearts. Let's celebrate Valentine's Day through the Power of Prayer!

Women’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study Led by Arvilla Jungman Meets at 11 am in Fellowship Hall Attitude is Your Paintbrush It Colors Every Situation Our attitude goes a long way toward determining who we are and how we live day to day. James W. Moore inspires readers to transform negative pessimistic attitudes into positive optimistic attitudes centered on the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
