  2. Fire Safety Equipment Fire safety gear comes in a wide variety of forms. Each device is made specifically to handle the various fire classes in a variety of environments. If you're having trouble deciding which fire safety features your building needs, take a look at the types for the selection of gear. Once you are aware of the fire safety precautions in your building, don't forget to look at options for fire equipment service. Contact Safety Line LLC right away to request our services if you need us to test and inspect a variety of equipment.

  3. Fire Extinguishers A variety of hand-held fire fighting tools can be found in most buildings. This assortment of tools is intended to aid in putting out small fires before they grow out of control. To help you put out a flame, portable fire extinguishers are available with a variety of extinguishing agents. Any of the following substances may be found in a portable extinguisher: • Water • Foam • Powdered dry • CO2 • Wet chemicals

  4. 2. Fire blankets Class F fires are intended to be doused with fire blankets. This refers to a flame that is fueled by fats and cooking oils. In kitchens, where there is a higher chance of a class F fire, fire blankets should be installed.

  5. 3. Fire Hose Reels Fire hose reels work best for putting out class A fires. That is to say, fires fueled by non-conductive materials like paper, rubber, wood, and others. Fire hose reels cannot put out electrical fires because they release water. Other kinds of fire safety gear, such as C02 fire extinguishers, are made to deal with electrical fires.

  6. 4. Signage Standard signage should be present near all fire equipment. Users can use this to determine where and what kind of equipment they can access in an emergency. When it comes to fire safety signage, there are many different regulations. For installation and maintenance, an Australian standard is provided with each piece of equipment. More details on signage placement and its recommended locations can be found in the corresponding guide.

  7. 5. Fire Sprinklers There are a number of standards that may apply to your building when it comes to the design, fire sprinkler systems installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in Dubai. Sprinkler systems are intended to either control the fire or to suppress the fire. Fire sprinkler services often serve as the first line of defense against smoke and fires.

  8. 6. First Aid Supplies First aid kits may not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering the various types of fire safety equipment, but they are crucial after a fire. For minor burn injuries sustained during a fire, having sufficient first aid supplies on hand will be helpful. Additionally, it's a matter of compliance; as a manager or owner of a business, you must offer first aid to your employees.

  9. 6. Emergency & Exit Signs When a fire is out of control, you must evacuate a building even though fire fighting equipment is crucial. During a fire, emergency and exit signs will aid in creating a clear path to an exit. It will be easier to control panic and get your team members to the right exit on time if you have clear signage and lighting.

  10. 7. Smoke Alarm It detect heat and smoke before sounding their alarms. Some fire safety tools have detection capabilities. Every residential and commercial building needs smoke alarms.
