  4. GCSE Resistant Materials - Major Project: Initial ideas Initial ideas You will need to produce three different initial ideas. Each idea will take up one page only. You will need to produce an evaluation sheet to go with each. One idea will need to produced using CAD. One development page will then be produced with the sketches of suggestions of improvements to take forward. A final idea is then decided on.

  5. GCSE Resistant Materials - Major Project: Initial ideas The 3 initial ideas You must use a range of techniques when producing your ideas. Each idea needs to be different from the others but still trying to fulfil your specification. You need to show different views of your idea by using 2-D and 3-D drawing techniques. Every idea must be annotated showing how it would work, what it could be made from and how it could be made. These are suggestions of processes and materials Mention links to your specification in your annotations.

You must include consumer comments. A sketch to show the suggested improvements will get you more marks. A conclusion – will you take this idea or part of it forward and why? Why would you not? Each evaluation must take up 1 page.

Complete for the double lesson this week
