Welcome to Mr. Eiler's classroom! With a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and History from Arizona State University, I am passionate about nurturing students’ learning. I coach baseball and softball and emphasize accountability, ensuring students are responsible for their work even when absent. Personal electronics are restricted to educational purposes, mainly during Sustained Silent Reading (SSR). I maintain an updated website for resources while tutoring is available on Thursdays. Students track their assignments in Agendas, promoting engagement for parents and students alike.

Absent Work Wall • Gone a day? Go to the folder for the day that you were gone and pick up the work! • The students have been well trained about what they are to do when they are absent. • The STUDENT is ACCOUNTABLE for their missing work if they are absent. • One day = one day • You can also check my website to gather materials for the days that you were absent
Electronics • Will we use personal electronics in class for educational purposes? • Unless it is SSR, the answer will always be NO • What electronics may be used during SSR? • E-Readers (Kindle, Nook, iPad) • Bring at your own risk. Remember, you are responsible for your own property so be cautious when using.
Electronics Continued • If any other device is found and has not been permitted by me, I will take it away and you will have to go to the office to get it.
Keeping Track of Your Logins • Students have recorded their login information both in their Agenda as well as in theirSocial Studies notebook. • Their computer login will be changing every 45 days this year. Accountability is in their hands. After 45 days, I will not know what their password is as the network will prompt them to reset.
Teacher Websites • Every teacher on our team maintains an updated website here at Bogle with updates and daily assignments/documents • www.cusd80.com/bjhs
Agendas • Your child will write in their Agenda daily • The Agenda is used as not only a tool for the students, but also for the parents • If there is a X one of the days, that means your child failed to complete or turn in their homework • Be sure to check this nightly and keep them organized and on track
Tutoring • Every teacher here at Bogle provides tutoring one day a week. • My tutoring days are held on Thursday from 4:05-4:45 • Students are to arrive promptly at 4:05 – any late stragglers will not be permitted. • There is a late bus and parent pick-up is permitted/encouraged.
